The baccalaureate students who form the delegation of the United Nations’ Models travelled to Buenos Aires, Argentina during this past week.   The girls participated in MINUBA representing France and the United Arab Emirates, discussing global issues, which included: Trafficking of women through international borders, Implementation of Laws to prevent domestic violence, Inequality between men and women regarding roles, rights and opportunities, Freedom of press and freedom of expression; Governmental regulations regarding the use of the internet; Sustainable development in the agricultural industry, among others.   The students were able to participate in several committees and sessions, demonstrating diplomacy and leadership while drafting the resolutions.   Without a doubt, an amazing experience in an international arena.
